Sergey A. Grudinkin received a Ph.D. degree in 2002 from the Ioffe Institute (St.-Petersburg, Russia) for the development of chemical vapor deposition of diamond films using nanodiamonds as nucleation centers. Currently, Dr. Grudinkin is a senior researcher at the Ioffe Institute.
His scientific interests are in the field of the chemical vapor deposition of diamond films and particles, the fabrication and investigation of color centers embedded in micro- and nanodiamonds, application of fluorescent nanodiamonds, Micro-Raman and FTIR spectroscopy, photonic and plasmonic structures based on nanodiamonds.
