Name: Ermina Anna Andreevna / Ермина Анна Андреевна

Birth: July 16, 1997, in Luga, Leningrad region

Biography

In 2018, being a third-year bachelor student, Anna joined the laboratory of Power Semiconductor Devices at the Ioffe Institute where she is now working under supervision of Dr. Yuliya Zharova.

In 2019, Anna received a bachelor degree from the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Institute of Physics, Nanotechnology and Telecommunications, Department of Physics and Technology of Nanostructures.

In 2019, she was enrolled in the master’s program at ITMO University, School of Physics and Engineering for the specialization program in physics of semiconductors. This master’s program is offered by the ITMO University in cooperation with the Ioffe Institute.

In 2021, Anna enrolled postgraduate school at the Ioffe Institute (1.3.8 Condensed Matter Physics).

In 2022, she made an online presentation at the 5th International Conference on Applied Surface Science (25.04.2022-28.04.2022).

In March 2023, for her report on SERS (Surface-enhanced Raman scattering) active substrates with Ag nanoparticles incorporated into c-Si, she got the Second prize at the Winter School on Semiconductor Physics organized by the Ioffe Institute.

In 2023, Anna won a PhD competition held by the St. Petersburg Committee for Science and Higher Education.

In 2023, Anna participated in the international METANANO Summer School on Nanophotonics and Advanced Materials which held on 16-18 August 2023 in Qingdao, China.
