Mikhail S. Ivanov was born in St. Petersburg in 1995. He received the M.S. degree from the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in 2019. During a studentship he joined the Laboratory of Power semiconductor devices at the Ioffe Institute, and is since 2019 pursuing the Ph.D. degree.
Research interests of Mr. Ivanov are focused on the theoretical studies of the avalanche devices for operation in the subnanosecond pulse duration range. As of 2020, he has co-authorized two journal and four conference papers. For the presentations at the fora of young scientists in Saint Petersburg (2016, 2017), he was awarded the honors diplomas.
