Mr. Kalinin has been working in the Laboratory of Power semiconductor devices at the Ioffe Institute since 1970, as a mechanic.
His sphere of responsibility included deposition of thin metal films in vacuum, in particular of the metal contacts to the devices fabricated in the Laboratory.
